These terms govern use of the Accessibility Registry website and the records, badge, and services it provides ("the registry"). By using the registry you agree to them.

1. What the registry provides

The registry publishes records of website accessibility remediation filed by approved remediation partners. Records describe work reported by the filing partner at the dates shown. The registry does not audit, certify, or approve websites and makes no representation that any website is accessible or complies with any law.

2. Accuracy of records

The filing partner is responsible for the accuracy of each record it files. The registry publishes records as filed and may annotate, suspend, or withdraw a record following an inquiry. The registry is not liable for errors or omissions in records.

3. Use of records

Records are public and may be viewed, cited, and linked to freely. Bulk copying, scraping, or republishing the registry's records as a dataset requires written permission.

4. The badge

The badge may be displayed only on a website that holds a record, only as provided by the registry, and only in accordance with the rules for use. Displaying a badge on a website without a record, altering the badge, or changing where it links is prohibited. The registry may require removal of a badge at any time.

5. Partners

Firms that file records agree to the partner criteria as a condition of filing. The registry may suspend or remove a partner that does not meet them.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the registry to file false information, to impersonate a partner, to interfere with the site, or to harvest personal information.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

The registry is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the registry disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any loss arising from use of the registry, reliance on a record, or display of a badge.

8. Changes

These terms may change. The effective date above shows the current version. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the change.
